Some of us are not really familiar with the wave of education online that has been getting more popular than ever. People tend to prefer this type of education as you do not have to deal face to face with your professor and that doing it on your own be more beneficial in terms of concentration. But does it really get the full benefits of doing the traditional way of campus learning?
This has become a debate amongst my friends and some people who against the advent of this type of earning your degree on certain types of courses. Some of the people who would rather see it done the traditional way are mostly the old school guys and gals. But I do agree with their points as well as I understand the point why online education is the way to go for certain people.
The basic convenience of online education is that it is open 24/7 and you can do it at your own pace without the constant travel to school and other expenses that goes with it too. But there is something you might be missing when you do not go the tradition college and university campuses. For instance, you are depriving yourself of the vast facilities and activities that can broaden your education like interaction with other students.
For most people who have already earned their degrees in online education said that it is good and well deserved. They felt that they did get what they should have gotten if they were to go the college and university campus.
Online education is very much beneficial for people who have their own businesses to attend to and or those that have limited time as they are already working and needed additional education in their chosen field.
The argument of whether it is good will always persist because of the years of knowing, learning and earning your degree is always done at the school campuses. But with the advent of the internet it has made it possible to do your education online.
